FAQ

Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. All estimates are free. Submit photos through the form above and we'll send you an accurate price within 2 hours — no obligation.
What exactly does "1 visit" mean in a subscription?
A visit is one scheduled appointment at your property, capped at the hours listed for your plan (2 hrs for Basic and Premium, 2.5 hrs for Property Manager). Before each visit, we confirm the scope via WhatsApp so there are no surprises.
  • Basic (1 visit): Fixed monthly checklist — inspection, smoke detector test, fixture tightening, and one minor repair.
  • Premium (3 visits): One inspection visit + two task-based visits where you pick from our approved service list.
  • Property Manager (5 visits): Same as Premium, with additional visits that can cover multiple units or tenant turnover packages.
A visit is not an open work order. We arrive, complete the agreed scope, and issue a written report. Anything beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately.
What is the "approved task list" for Premium and Property Manager visits?
The approved task list includes all services on our website: TV mounting, furniture assembly, door repairs, caulking, gutter cleaning, smoke detector checks, lawn maintenance, and minor home repairs. Any task that fits within your visit time is included at no extra charge. Tasks requiring materials over $20 are billed for materials only — labour is covered by your plan.
What happens if the job takes longer than the visit time?
We always confirm scope before arriving to avoid this. If a job turns out to be larger than expected, we'll pause, explain the situation, and give you options: book an additional visit under your plan (if you have visits remaining), schedule a separate one-time appointment, or we quote the extra time at our standard hourly rate of $75/hr — your choice, no pressure.
Are materials included in the subscription?
Basic consumables are always included — screws, anchors, sandpaper, caulk for small areas, batteries for smoke detectors. For anything over $20 in materials (paint, lumber, large caulk jobs, replacement hardware, etc.), we purchase on your behalf and bill you at cost with a receipt. We never mark up materials.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Ottawa and surrounding areas including Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven, Nepean, Gloucester, and Gatineau.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, e-transfer, and credit card. Subscription plans are billed monthly via e-transfer or card on the same date each month.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time with no penalty. Just send us a message before your next billing date and we'll cancel immediately. Unused visits in a paid month are non-refundable but can be used any time before your cancellation date.
Can I roll over unused visits to next month?
Unused visits do not automatically roll over. However, if you miss a visit due to scheduling issues on our end, we will always make it up. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we will accommodate you.
Do you handle large renovations?
No. We focus on handyman services, minor repairs, and property maintenance. For large renovations, we can refer you to trusted Ottawa contractors — just ask.
Are your prices fixed?
Starting prices are listed for one-time services. The final price depends on job complexity and materials, and we always confirm the exact price before any work begins — no surprises. Subscription prices are fixed monthly rates with no hidden fees.
